The Business Development Manager - Construction will be responsible for selling our client’s construction technology products, sales methodology, processes, prospecting techniques, and customer base while selling technology solutions to commercial construction customers of all sizes in the Pennsylvania Region with a key focus on the Greater Philadelphia area. In this role, you will focus on companies that can benefit from our client’s world-class portfolio throughout the Design-Build-Operate (DBO) lifecycle of the commercial building construction industry. By adopting our client’s field technology (layout, 3D scanning, and AR/VR), general contractors and construction managers, along with specialty contractors, can realize greater efficiency and profitability. The primary function of the Business Development Manager - Construction is new account acquisition. The aim of this role is to grow revenue with an emphasis on new logo customer sales within the commercial vertical construction industry. This includes following up on inbound leads, prospecting, qualifying, solution selling, negotiation, and closing.

Key Responsibilities for the Business Development Manager - Construction

•Deliver technical presentations which demonstrate and enforce the value to accounts in terms of productivity, accuracy, quality and return on investment
•Develop prospecting plans for territory development to build rapport and create opportunities
•Research accounts, identify key players, generate interest and obtain business requirements
•Fully prospect all commercial and residential construction projects within the territory
•Maintain accurate and up-to-date forecasts
•Manage and maintain accurate leads, opportunities, and account information within
•Provide sales management with reports on sales activities and projects as requested forecasts
•Achieve or exceed monthly and quarterly targets
•Pursue and increase knowledge of key competitors to ensure that our value proposition is effectively communicated to customers
•Achieve or exceed monthly and quarterly targets
•Timely follow-up and qualification of new prospects from either inbound leads or customer requests generated by marketing
•Networking, relationship building, cold calling, lead follow-up through emails, product demonstrations, and execution of service agreements
•Present a professional and positive company image at all times that model the company values
