Position description:
The primary role is providing financial controlling support to the VP of Manufacturing working closely with Factory Leadership and the Division finance team.

This position is responsible for establishing, promoting and proactively improving business processes and championing a culture of business excellence in the T&P Finance and controlling area. Key areas of responsibility include leading a team, project management, issue resolution, decision support and financial analysis, planning and reporting.

This leadership position provides strategic long-term financial guidance and champions a vision for change. This person will partner with the strategic business unit / function to improve performance throughout the organization. You will provide leadership in actively coaching and developing team members and ensuing cross-functional team compliance with internal, external and operational audit requirements.

Primary responsibilities:
Run and own the Finance and Control function supporting the VP, in close collaboration with Factory and Division Finance teams.

Manufacturing Focus:
•Operational performance reviews and periodic reporting and analysis
•Set cash savings targets and align with VP and Division
•Review and supervise the productivity agenda on a project by project basis
•Review of the reconciliation of factory finance variances to the contribution of cost savings projects identifying cost aggravations and one time savings
•Prepare standardized and ad hoc operational financial performance reports supporting the analysis of financial performance
•Support the operational budget and present / review budgets with VP Manufacturing and team
•Prepare and lead all aspects of the annual capital expenditure approval package in collaboration with Corp Engineering and CAPEX team
•Lead the compliance agenda with the factories and support all required audits
•Deliver executive summaries and present results, analysis and recommendations to senior leadership as per the agreed cadence of meetings
•Drive corrective action if required based upon the results presented
•Foster the sharing of operational cost reduction and containment methodologies
•Serve in a leadership role in maintaining internal controls over factories and serving in a fiduciary capacity for handling and maintaining company assets and resources
•Lead and develop your team and ensure alignment with corporate objectives via regular team meetings and the TPMS process

Division Focus:
•Preparation of the dynamic forecast (DF)
•Analysis, review and explanation of key movements in the DF
•Review actual performance as part of period end close and drive insight and openness in regard to key variances
•Participate in Division efforts to drive continuous cost improvement and ensure that the accurate analysis and critical metrics are in place to measure improvement
•Analysis at the SKU, pack and brand level for respective Divisions

Requirements:
•BA/BS with major or minor in Accounting or Finance, or BA/BS degree with coursework up to and including intermediate accounting
•Must be willing to travel 20-25%
•Minimum of 8-10 years’ experience in Accounting/Finance
•Minimum 3-4 years people management experience required
•Sustainable performance in finance, supply chain and or customer service function
•Participation in local efficiency and best practice projects
•Factory finance experience, preferably as a Factory Controller
